Outdoor Girl

Jesse's parents went to Hawaii for a week so he had to do chores so Emily and I decided to "help" him out one day. We went for a ride in the tractor and all Emily wanted to do was grab the steering wheel and drive and of course Dad let her have the wheel and away we went.

We sat in the grass and soaked up the warm sun while Dad made some feed for the cows. It is a rare occasion that Emily will look at the camera so these are the best we could do. She loves being outside and eating whatever she can find

This was the first year that I got to celebrate mothers day and I am so happy that Emily is in our family and that I get to be her Mother, she makes me laugh all the time and even when I get mad or frustrated she will make a sound or smile and it melts my heart. We had a little barbecue at our house and had my parents and Jesse's parents over and had a good time.
As well as being mothers day it was Emily 11month b-day. The past 11 months have gone by so fast and she amazes me everyday. She is moving around like crazy, climbing on everything which brings many falls and tears. She is on the Verge of walking i don't think it will be very long, she can balance for quite a while and walks around the furniture pretty fast. She loves to eat and will eat just about anything you give her. She is a pretty good sleeper she usually sleeps through the night or wakes up just once and has one nap a day for anywhere from 1/2 hour to 2 hours. She loves her mom and dad but gets really excited when Dad comes home from work. She loves being outside and with that comes the eating of dirt and rocks. Her new favorite place to play is in the oven drawer with the tubberwear containers which will keep her entertained usually long enough for me to get dinner started, but i can't load the dishwasher because she will be in it as fast as possible.

We go camping every May long weekend since we got married and this year was even more fun with Emily. We bought some bubble and she thought that was pretty fun to try and catch them.

We went for a walk and found the animals this is Emily checking out Dad feeding the lamas

She loved the swing. I was a little worried to put her in it but once she stared to swing there was no stopping her. She would laugh and smile from ear to ear.

Emily is a stomach sleeper, ever since she could roll over she would sleep on her belly. I just love her little feet. The next picture is kind of hard to see but she has her bear in her arm sleeping.
