We had a few more camping trips in August. The first one we went to Gold Springs camp ground, we had never been there before and it was a really fun little campground. The first night we had beer can chicken and Levi and Jaxon were so excited and hungry they couldn’t wait to eat Jesse’s delicious dinner. We had bonfires and the kids went boating in the little pond. Jesse had to go to work on Saturday so we just hung out played cards and read it was a fun weekend.
The next trip we went on was to the Canadian Country Weekend at Fort Macleod. It started Friday night and we saw Terry Clark and a few others.
The next day was so hot but we got to see lots of good singers. I think Dales highlight was seeing Ian Tyson it was pretty neat to see a ledged like him sing. Dale even went and bought a CD that he signed.
Gord Bamford and George Canyon were up next and the night finished with Trevor Panczak it was getting a little cold for us so we turned in early but it was a great weekend. (we even booked our camping spot for next year)
We camped just down the road at the Daisy May and guess who was camping right behind us Terry Grant AKA Man Tracker. We kept an eye on him but we were too shy to get a picture with him.
The next day the Gruningers went and picked up their new dog Daisy. Jaxon was so excited.
Yippee a new post! You guys win the prize for camping all stars! We might have to join you next year! Excited to see you all at Christmas!!
