We had a lot of fun this summer and I have found that I don't use my camera very often any more and just end up using my phone since I always have it on me. So this post is a over view of our summer from my phone. (caution photo overload)
Emily has loved going to the hot tub. She will find her swimming suit in the dresser and bring it to me so of course off we go. She could probably play out there forever.
My little Canada Day girl. Every year we get to watch the parade from Grandma Browns house and then we have a BBQ after. This year Emily really loved the parade she just sat in her stroller and watched everything go by and when the horses walked by she got so excited.
We were big helpers to Dad and Grandpa when they needed the cows moved back home.
Emily loves to be outside and it doesn't matter what you are doing as long as it is outside. She spent the afternoon at the farm with Grandma and Grandpa Whitt while mom and dad went to the airshow and she had a lot of fun jumping on the tramp.
Madeline had a Birthday. The Matson house was getting renovated so they had the party out at the farm and they had this water slide set up for the kids to play on, the water was a little chilly but Emily still went in it and had fun. Then came the cake, Emily got her own cupcake and she eat it and was covered, I think she liked this one more then her own birthday cake.
Picnic in the park, we decided that one Sunday afternoon to get lunch and eat it at Henderson Lake in Lethbridge, after lunch we were walking around and found the ice cream shop and Dads cone broke so Emily got her very own little ice cream and was she ever pleased and I think she ate it all.
Fun at the park. We have two nice parks just a couple of blocks away from us so on nice days we love to go play at the park.
Time to combine. We took supper out to Dad and Grandpa one night so me and Emily went for a round in the combine with Grandpa.
We went to Waterton and spent the day and Emily had to throw some rocks in the lake and just about ended up in it herself.
We "helped" grandam do some canning this year. We got quite a bit done, we made spaghetti sauce and did peaches and pears. Emily was helping grandma cut the pears and put them in the jars until she took a bite of one so we let her eat it and she just about ate the whole thing.
We got a new friend at our house. Jesse came home to this guy sitting on our porch with a note saying something for Emily to cuddle with from guess who. We found out that it was from Jesse's aunt and uncle. Emily likes bear quite a bit and if you ask her if bear is sleeping she will put her finger to her lips and say"shhhh" then we tell her to wake bear up so she runs and dives on him.
She even like to try and feed bear.
